The music listened to by surfers, the music played by surfers and more generally the music that in the collective unconscious evokes beaches, waves, sun and strong emotions.

On back cover and in the booklet, track CD1-10 is credited to Larry Bright with the song "Surfin' Queen" and track CD1-11 to Renee and Ray with the song "Surfboard" but are in fact replaced by two songs from the compilation Various - MOM: Music For Our Mother Ocean (tracks CD2-14 & CD2-16 are also extracted from this compilation).
