THE DOORS, WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE

When You're Strange tells us the story of the Doors' adventure as close as possible to what it was. The portrait of Jim Morrison is subtle, deeper and deviates from the usual clichés. Because through unpublished archive images, the film shows a real group of musicians in the psychedelic context of sixties America. In terms of music, we are served: in less than an hour and a half, the film lets us hear nearly forty songs, with some truly astonishing live sequences.
