The live tracks on this CD were recorded during the band's final trip to Australia during the Grace campaign, which Jeff dubbed "The Hard Luck Tour". They were mastered from a soundboard tape made at a concert at Palais Theatre, Melbourne, on February 28th, 1996. The engineer was Jeff's soundman, Mark Naficy, who had joined the tour at Jeff's request.
Bonus track was recorded to a used cassette by Paul Wilke, the band's soundman at the time, during a rehearsal at Montana Studios, in New York City.
