Beck - Guero

DISC CONDITION: Mint (M)

COVER CONDITION: Mint (M)

Because he regularly baffled us, we expected Beck elsewhere. After the folky "Sea Change" from 2002, the little musical genius of his generation decided to return to loves already frequented, those of funk, hip hop and guitars that we plug in... Although he does not stun from the start, this new vintage bottled with the help of the Dust Brothers (already present on "Odelay) is no less seductive and most of the songs offered ("Black Tambourine", "Earthquake Weather", "Broken Drum" or "Scarecrow") crackle with a thousand lights in the hollow of the ears. Luxury guest, Jack White rolls his bass on "Go It Alone" while Tony Hoffer was judiciously called upon to take the controls for "Farewell Ride".
