A journalist specializing in cultural themes and subjects, Sophie Rosemont collaborates with Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Vogue and Les Inrocks. A columnist for La Dispute de France Culture, she was also an author for Le Nouveau Dictionnaire du Rock directed by Michka Assayas ("Bouquins", 2014) and a literary and musical programmer at festivals. She also teaches at a journalism school and at the French branch of Columbia University. Her first solo book, Girls Rock (Nil), which focuses on the female destinies of rock'n'roll, was published in 2019.
