Formed in 1980 in Nancy, this iconic cold wave duo, composed of Spatsz (machines) and Mona Soyoc (vocals and guitar), shook up the music scene with Try Out. This first hard-hitting album released in 1982 mixes dark and disturbing synths with Mona's suave and sometimes jazzy voice. Tracks like "Never Come Back" and "So Young And So Cold" shake up French post-punk with their singularity and power.

A year later, By Pass, recorded in New York, confirms KaS Product's talent. The album remains faithful to the aesthetic of Try Out, with its sticky synth layers and striking melodies. Tracks like "Tina Town" and "TMT" stand out for their nervous and captivating energy.
