GIEDRE

Singer Giedré Barauskaité was born in Vilnius on October 23, 1985. At the age of 7, after her father's death, she moved with her mother to the suburbs of Paris. After obtaining her baccalaureate, she studied drama at the Cours Florent then at ENSATT and had small roles on television, in theater and in commercials. She began composing songs, which she performed in a bar in her neighborhood, in the early 2000s. Spotted by Raphaël Mezrahi during an audition, Giedré performed as the opening act for the comedian's show at La Cigale

She then performed as the opening act for Laurent Baffie's show, under the pseudonym Moisie. She then went on tour with Oldelaf, before venturing out on her own into alternative music. Her first self-produced seven-track album, entitled Mon premier disque , was released in 2011. The same year, Mon premier CdVd was released, which brought together audio tracks and clips. In 2012, Giedré was one of the winners of the FAIR. Mon premier album genre Panninni was released on April 1st. It did not contain a record, but rather scratch-off stickers. These allowed the songs to be downloaded using a code. The first compilation of her songs was released in January 2013. It was followed by a new album, entitled MoN PREMIER ALbuM Sold in Stores.
