BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS

Bob Marley, born Robert Nesta Marley on February 6, 1945 in Nine Miles (Jamaica). He died on May 11, 1981 in Miami (United States). He was a Jamaican singer-songwriter, singer and musician. During his lifetime Bob Marley enjoyed worldwide success. He remains to this day the best-known and most revered musician in reggae. Considered the one who brought Jamaican music and the Rastafarian movement to a global audience. He has sold more than 200 million records worldwide. Including the album Exodus.

Unique, Bob Marley popularized reggae beyond the borders of Jamaica with legendary titles: "Could you be loved", "Stir it up", "Is this love" and "Jammin'", thus illustrating his favorite themes: oppression, love and spirituality.

Rarely has a singer been able to embody both the suffering of the most deprived and the hope for a better life. Rarely have songs such as Get Up Stand Up, No Woman, No Cry, etc. been adopted by so many different people as anthems of a fight to escape an intolerable condition.
